Default New Sunsation 39CCX!

Sunsation Powerboats of Algonac, Michigan has announced the upcoming release of their largest Center Console to date, a newly designed 39CCX (Center Console Extreme). Over the past six years, the company has enjoyed phenomenal growth in the popularity of its CCX model line. Sunsation debuted their first center console in 2014, the 34' CCX. This all new design featured an extra spacious cabin, high-end luxury amenities and performance and handling characteristics on par with their renowned deep-vee sport boats. The immediate popularity of the 34CCX and initial sales orders led to Sunsation's next entry into the performance center console market: the 32CCX that featured the revolutionary, Tres Martin designed, SVT2 hull.

Shortly after we launched the first 34CCX", says company VP Joe Schaldenbrand. "We began getting feedback from our customers on how great the boat was and numerous inquiries about our future plans for additional size options. The next year, we developed the 32CCX, which has become extremely popular with many of our lake and bay customers across the country. We're now seeing a growing demand for what we term "mini-cruisers", center consoles in the 39' to 50' range." One of the most successful markets for Sunsation's line of CCX center consoles has proven to be Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. Performance Boat Center, of Osage Beach, is the exclusive Sunsation dealer for that region. Their first 32CCX was debuted at the 2015 Spring In-Water Boat Show.

"By the end of our first fiscal year with Sunsation, we had sold more than a dozen 32 & 34CCXs combined," says company co-owner, Brett Manire. "Sunsation has become the All Star brand of our lineup. Like Wayne & Joe at the factory; my partner, Mark Waddington, and I listen to our customers. A large segment have expressed interest in a CCX model larger than the 34. We knew that the Sunsation team was already in the development stage for a 39 foot center console and have now partnered with them to build the all new 39CCX."

The 39CCX boasts a total length of 39 feet with a 10.5'' beam. It features dual row bolsters, integrated bow thruster and side entry dive door. Sunsation's proven SVT2 ventilated hull design has been optimized to the 39's additional width, length, and center of gravity. "The 39CCX is a concept that we've been working on for the past two years," states company President, Wayne Schaldenbrand. "We are building this boat from the bottom up. With the 39CCX's additional displacement, every aspect of the design is digitally modeled to achieve optimal hydro and aerodynamic characteristics to insure that we maintain the same superior performance and handling as with our 32 & 34CCX models."

Sunsation's largest dealer in the state of Florida, Captain's Choice Boats, of Ft. Walton Beach, has advocated for a larger CCX model for the past two years. Owner, Mitch Kaplan, explained, "The 32 & 34CCX's are very popular here on the Gulf. They're ideal for cruising the bays and intracoastal areas and handle extremely well in the big waters further out. We're seeing a growing interest among our customers for a larger Sunsation CCX model and, interestingly, a lot of the requests are coming from current Sunsation owners. We're excited about the launch of the new 39CCX and look forward to introducing it to this market, where it will fit exceptionally well. I'm always amazed at the customer loyalty to the Sunsation brand. Joe & Wayne are definitely doing something right!"

The 39CCX is scheduled for release in early spring of 2018, with a price point similar to other boats in its class, such as the 39 Nortech and Cigarette GTS. The 39CCX will feature various Mercury power options, ranging up to quad Verado 400R's. When asked about the projected top speed of the boat, Joe Schaldenbrand answered, "Well....faster than the competition!"

Good economy and great fuel prices. Bingo boats , rvs, everywhere I look I see 40 foot plus diesel pushers , not long ago they were extinct , hopefully these fuel prices are here to stay. As it appears with the loosening regulations with this administration America can enjoy a break from the fuel cartel. And enjoy making , selling kick ass boats. , congrats substation and best of luck. , rock on America. N safe boating to all !!!

No mention of the 29 CCX...wonder if that is a signal that they may punt it from the lineup?

The 39 will be a showpiece and a top knotch performer with the power and influence behind it that it has bringing it to life. Sunsation is spot on with everything they do and we are proud to be a dealer for them. The latest 32 they built us couldnt have been a nicer more well finished off boat in every way fit and finish and serious attention to detail. Im a picky person as a dealer but also as a consumer. Keep up the good work!!

And yes the 29 has been pulled, but Captains Choice has two in stock I was told. I just spoke to Joe the other day about ordering one in and found out the bad news on the 29 but heard a lot of the 39 and that is going to be nothing but a great unit!!!
