The Cat and Extreme Cats will not be racing in Class 1. They are going out for testing purposes only and will start behind the boats that are racing. OPA is allowing this since it was too rough for anyone to test today.

Are you saying the Chip boyz can't hang with cats with 525s? I don't think your giving them enough credit. These boats never average over 100mph during a race.

This is bracket racing. The GPS will be the cop. Hope the Duct tape holds cause nothing would be finer than to see them take this win!!!

Listen on Talk offshore. 1pm and 3pm thier time. That's 2pm and 4pm for us east coasters.

JC - When do you fly in?

Cat Lite = OPA Class 1
Super V and Cat OB = OPA Class 2
Super V lite - OPA Class 4

It lines up real well if you look at the speeds they race at. Hell, Showtime and Pour it on couldn't stay with Chips in Ocean City and they ran in P1.

OPA does offer a PX class at some races but not in Destin. Some boats will be on the track, but not racing for OPA points. Simply testing. Not sure if that includes Jem or not. The Reliable Cat Lite is in Class 1, not the US1 Cat.

Don't tell Jimmy
