No if you go to KW it is the start of the SBI season so you pay your 08 fees, and are paid thru KW next year. You can be a national champion in OPA and never go to KW, but if you want to be the "World" champion you have to race at the "Worlds" in KW. Think about it like buying your way into the NFL playoffs

Someone please confirm that I understand correctly.

In order to race in the KW Worlds under SBI, you have to pay 2008 equip reg. and crew fees. But not 2007? Why would you not have to pay 2007 Reg fees to qualify?

anyone ...anyone?

Carbonell considers KW the start of the new season as far as money and registration

When I read "Joint" racing I was thinking you needed to join both race organizations to participate in certain rounds next year.. sorry for the confusion.

Bruce you crack me up, remember back when you ran with SBI, yes come out of the closet, you did!, it was the same way then as it is now. The only changes from years past is that you have to run 2 races with ANY association in 2007 to qualify. In the past you had to run 2 SBI only races.

So after you try to beat me in Chat, you will then be qualified.

Your biggest fan,

Trent

only 2008 fees unless you plan to run Morehead or Panama City then yes 2007, but if you dont show until KW 2008 only

The only qulaifier(sp) is that run 1 more race anywhere of your chosing, Cambridge, LOTO, Morehead, Panama City, and Chatanooga are your options.
