Cat lite in P2
I know the Cat light boats race p1, but what about an older one, say an 03 skater? The top speed in kilo trim would be closer to p1 speed, but on the race course maight have a hard time breaking out of p2. Has it been done, is it a good idea? any thoughts? Im selling my 36 nor-tech to get more into racing and would like something similar. The other option is Cat OB/P3(or 2?)

03 Skater is old ???? but If you runs like you say (under 105mph) I would think it would be fine.

The CC is fishin boat/island hopper, replacing a fishing boat. It might run 60, with the twin 480 yanmars. Race boat is still up in the air, I'm just exploring options, ideally I would like to join a team or someone else starting team who needs a t-man or driver.
