Default St. Clair 2009 race date

Due to a previous commttment of law enforcement resources, BWORA has had to change the race date from the 4th weekend in July. This was because of all things, a sail boat "race" or should I say regatta. The date for 2009 will be July 31st, Aug.1st and Aug 2nd. BWORA hopes this is early enough to plan for next year and regrets it was necessary. In 2010 we will be back to the 4th weekend in July!!! Thanks to all of the Race teams that came this year and we are looking forward to next year.

River Fest is and has been a part of the races for the last three years. Funfest participation will be negotiated but we anticipate that Fun Fest will continue to be our partner for that weekend.

This years race was just amazing ,this was my 9th year to be a part of this event. Wow did we have fun. I bumped into Dave Goodman the guy that started the St. Clair Race 14 years ago he was, as you might expect very proud of the growth and quality of it all.Steve You and your group of merrymakers are the best. I wish we could do two a year. What goes on in Mich. Stays in Mich.Tyler Crockett had a shop full of boats all week long and was still able to have Our Joker Power boat in top race form. Can't wait untill next year.George Eisenhart alias Grumpy Old Men

Steve,
Thanks again for all of the hospitality and consideration in St Clair. The Supercat Racing Webcast only was able to happen because of you.

BWORA is glad you enjoyed the race and St. Clair. We are proud of our team!!!! We are already working on the 2009 race. It never really stops. My wife calls it my second (unpaid) job but it gets in your blood. The week before the race, everybody is ready to quit or kill someone and the week after we are all back at it. Well, here we go again!!!!
