Making all the races on the OPA schedule can be tough when we break stuff. I can't imagine what it would be like to run a schedule like the AMF/Miss Geico Team does and while there at it the feed all our hungry butts !!! We missed them dearly at Cambridge and love to see them at every race. How about a big shout out for everyone on there team and thanks for all they do for us and the sport we all love.

I appreciate all the kind comments about the race. A lot of people work very hard to make it happen each year. Scotty, thanks for at least thinking about us, I know it is a stretch just to keep up such a grueling schedule. As you know, the invite is ALWAYS open. The bright side is I got my sidekick Mikey back for the weekend and you have trained him well, he works a lot harder now Have a great rest of the season and tear it up in Key West, see ya soon.

Mark, the biggest problem with running the Bay is finding a place to do it. The water makes for great racing but each time we found a venue they outgrew us and wouldn't continue to allow us to return (happened like 3 times in 7 years). That and the fact that the Hyatt has been a fantastic host and really makes the weekend special. The possibility always exists of another venue, but I sure would miss the Hyatt.

Amen!!! Also, I want to applaud to the Geico Team for showing up at races, feed racers a nice meal, sponsor for the racing event, and many more. I can't imagine like that. My hats off to the Geico Team!!!!!

Thanks again Guys. It means alot to hear some positive comments. The negativity on the board has been a little discouraging lately. We do our best to support everyone.

Leave the race in Cambridge! It is a great site! OPA has a good mix of venues (open ocean, bays, rivers) that work well.
Many teams could not compete if all the races were in open water where we break stuff, it would kill our budgets and the
time between races is not enough to fix major damage.
As for the AMF/Geico team, we appreciate everything that
you guys do for the sport and for us. We also realize you have
a extensive schedule and can't make every organizations race.
Thanks for all you have done and are doing. We all benefit from your efforts. United we race.
