Default TnT Signs on a sponsor for SIB Race Weekend

TnT CUSTOM MARINE IS A BRONZE SPONSOR of the
3rd Annual Sunny Isle Beach Offshore Challenge June 10-13th, 2010

Miami Beach, Fl, January 29th 2010– Offshore Events is very pleased to announce Johnny Tomlinson’s TnT Custom Marine is a Bronze Sponsor of the 3rd Annual Sunny Isle Beach Offshore Powerboat Challenge Weekend to take place June 10th-13th. This is race two of the 2010 GEICO Offshore Race Series.

The overwhelming success of last year’s event sets the stage for this year to be huge. This three day event will start on Friday with a live rock concert and swimsuit show at Haulover Park. Saturday morning will kick off with about 50 boats expected to make this year’s Historic Bimini Ocean Race. The Bimini Memorial Ocean Challenge allows for a great variety of boats with amateurs and professionals to race “Old School”, to Bimini and back. Aqua Mania will return to defend the incredible record time covering the 106 statue mile race course in only 43 minutes and 43 seconds averaging 145 miles an hour. On Sunday afternoon, the OPA race boats will thunder off the shores of Sunny Isles Beach. The entire event will be simulcast on the web courtesy of Supercat Racing and filmed in HD for the GECIO Offshore Race Series TV show.

Offshore Events, OPA, and the City of Sunny Isles Beach are very grateful for the significant sponsorship brought by TnT Custom Marine. “Without this type of support the success of events like these would not be possible. Boat sales, service, and the survival of the entire industry must be supported by all stakeholders so we all remain successful.” Said event director Katy Steiger.

Offshore Events will host the entire Offshore Powerboat Challenge Weekend with support from OPA, The City of Sunny Isles Beach, and Miami Dade County.

The good thing about the Miami area, probably wouldn't be to hard to pick up a driver for a Friday afternoon run to Bimini, only one turn to navigate.

didn't look at the schedule yet, it used to be on friday, makes more sense on friday, hard to get boats to commit to a 100 mile race the day before a points race.

Is there enough safety assets to put on the Bimini run and practice at the same time?
