Default Building a Class 5 boat??

Can any one give me a run down on the rules and what is needed to comp. in a opa class 5 race?? Boat will be a 27' ?? single engine big block. Whats the max cubic inches allowed. saftey equip. and so on.. Any input would be greatly appreciated.. This class looks like a Ball!! Thanks again guys

if I were you i would buy/ build a old superboat with twin outboards....they seem to be in impossible to beat

Lefty555 Funny that you mentioned that.. Some of the old excalibur's came with twin outbaords.. But i'll take a big block over 'em.. Hopefully the inboards can change the tables a little bit!!!! What kinda drive's do you guys run Bravo-1 or xr's or any types allowed. Just trying to get an idea on how to set this thing up... Wazzup I'll give ya a call this weekend thanks for any and all help!!!

MANITIE.. I am only a few from you guys in VA beach i would love to come and check out the set-up i'm reall trying to get some ideas...on what it take to be competative in this class.. Thanks again
