Thanks...but were looking open cockpit and seating for at least 4 with big fuel cells...part of the new program is to take out some Coasties out for rides, plus some good points were made about taking out PR folks on the record runs to write about the attempts...were thinking a 42 is the way to go...
I also can't believe I would ever say this...but I'm also looking at Cats...with the Ilmors in a Cat...the speed will be big...

Gino, I have 37.7 scarab with extended range tanks, over 300 gals. 400 mercs original never been hurt TRS drives. kept on hydro hoist in fresh water all its life. three axel trailer, brakes on all three axels, never been in water.allways craned. has a/c, insta hot, porcilen toilet with masserator,steal it complete with trailer 15,000,green. What were finding out is in a Vee hull we need something light and fast...with the Ilmor 725's we are going to need to be running over 110 mph+ to do these attempts and put up good numbers
and a 42 Fountain is one that I'm really looking at that could accomplish that..also a 32 Skater was offered to be part of the project...which with the power we are going with willl put us over 130+.....
The 37 Scarab sounds like a nice boat and a steal...someone should scoop that up...
