Thanks from The Mighty Macs!
During testing Saturday afternoon we experienced a serious engine problem and had to be towed in.As soon as we arrived at the ramp, our fellow race teams were asking what they could do to help us.It turns out that the starter ruined the the fly wheel.Smitty(Wazzup) called Evil Ed(Cleveland Construction). We towed over to Ed's Rivers Bend Marina facility.Fast Eddy jumped in the engine compartment and began getting everything ready to lift the engine out of the boat. Then Evil Ed and Shawn;who were working on thier race boat at the time, brought the lift truck over and helped lift the engine out of the boat.Evil Ed and Julie then went into the shop and began looking for the parts that we needed.Tyler(Crockett Marine)was contacted and he had an aluminum fly wheel at his shop.Jim Simmons(Simmons Marine)was contacted as he was on his way to Tyler's shop to pick up parts for his race boat.He was asked to bring back the aluminum fly wheel for us.Bob Teague(Amsoil)got us a starter. With the help of the Lauers(Whoz Your Daddy)and Steve and Joey(Jersey Outlaw);we were able to get most of the work done by 1230 Saturday night.Evil Ed stayed there and provided us with some needed tools and kept his shop open for us the whole time.We finished the work early Sunday morning and were able to make the race. The fact that we finished second was a bonus. It was just so gratifying to be able to race at all.We hope we are not leaving anyone out as the weekend was just a blur and we are tired. But we wanted to just let everyone know how much we appreciate being a part of such a great sport. Thanks to OPA and BWORA for putting on a fantastic event.See everyone in Port Huron! Thanks again.

Couldn't agree more with that statement.
