Default What does it take to race on OPA?

Other than having the hardware, what does it take to get on the circuit and start racing? If someone wanted to get their foot in the door, where would they start?

Default go racing

First find a class your boat will fit into.
Go to the opa site and read the rules of where you will fit in and what safety gear you need.
Come to a race talk to the teams most will help you out huge and pointe you in the right way to go and do things.
If you would like give me a email with your number and i can give you a call and you can hang out with us at one of the races and we can pointe you in the right direction.
Also fill your checking acount full of money

Call Chris Reindl at (702) BatBoat
You can lease a seat in a BatBoat for many of the races. It is a chance to not only drive in a race, but to learn from a guy that has a ton of experience. It is not just for the race, but the entire weekend, including practice time. Find some sponsors and you can even defray your costs. It is also cheaper than you might think (call Chris for details as different races/packages vary in cost). I bet you could race next week in Port Huron.

First you must pay a "TRIBUTE" to The Godfather,$$$, you must then kiss The Godfathers Ring and last, you must love to eat! Other than that, get a boat that passes all the tests and have FUN with OPA and The Jersey Boyz.

Make sure your boat is ready to go long before the season starts otherwise you'll feel like a dominatrix repeatedly kicked you in the junk as you try to get the boat ready
