Default Joker Powerboats/CRC Wins In Michigan and Canada

Joker Powerboats/CRC 611 Race Report.

The Joker Powerboat/CRC 611 race team came away with a hard fought victory in the International Offshore Powerboat Race held this past weekend. The event was held in the St. Clair River between Port Huron, Michigan and Sarnia, Canada, making it the only powerboat race on the Offshore Powerboat Racing Association's schedule that crosses national borders. The event, part of the Amsoil Offshore Powerboat Racing Series brought the speed and excitement of powerboat racing to an international audience.

The team battled 8 other boats in the largest class of the event competing 7 laps for a total of 35 miles on the turbulent waters of the river. It is their first victory of the season as well as the first race started as the boat was damaged in pre race testing during the first event in Ocean City, Maryland.

The team would like to thank their sponsors for making the win possible: Joker Powerboats, CRC Industries and Marren Fuel Injection.

Class 6 is where it's at for sure. The video on the start reminded me of the Factory 1 Days. Add about 20 more boats and it would really be fun. Great job guy's.
