Best place to watch is from the Lake Forest Yacht Club. The wet & dry pits are also located at the Lake Forest Yacht Club.

Links to Schedule of events:
OPA website: http://oparacing.org/race1.html
LHGP website: http://www.lakehopatcongrace.com/schedule.html

The race course markers will be added to the websites soon

I too am going to drive down to watch, but was hoping to find a spot that is dog, girlfriend and lawn chair friendly. Does that exist. Somehow I picture a state park with grass, trees and stuff to lay back and watch. Yeh or Ney.
