Thanks
Guys, thanks for all the comments. I did not mean to start an argument over Fountain vs. OL. They are both awesome boat companies and the industry is a better place because of what they both offer. I'm a big believer in competition (not just kilo runs, but business etc.) improving all competitors. Fountain is partly so fast because of OL and OL is partly so good because of Fountain. Enjoy the summer guys!

I'd say that sums it up. I was at the key west worlds when fountain's kilo boat competed for super vee unlimited world championship ( against itself) and the bottom delaminated 2 laps into it. They towed it home under darkness so nobody would see it.

i think that boat was make out of cardboard. reggie should try and hit 180 in that piece of sh#t. pretty much sums it up. cat killer did really well as i watched it at the worlds last year, not! maybe some of you fountain guys should bring your boats up to lake ontario to run in some 5 footers with me and we will see who's boat falls apart, i can assure you it won't be mine.

Was at p1 in Malta last year 6-8 footers Ol pwned the show. They lapped all the boats in the race.
Same Place 2007 - 10-15 footers Ol was first in the race but eventually they were unlucky enough and broke a water pump .
Is that a good decription of the seaworthiness of OL?

OK, thanks for all the comments. I think I'm learning alot from you guys, so I appreciate it. So what you're saying is the Fountain is certainly fast in calm water, however, they do not build a very strong hull? Isn't it very dangerous if the hull starts to come apart at triple digit speeds? More than anything, I want a safe boat for my family and friends. Thanks.
