Default 39 Quattro

Can someone tell me about the 39 Quattro?

Are they any good? What are the bad on them as well?

I see they mostly have Bravos's (which is not an issue) but has anyone put any power in these boats? Biggest I see is 600's.

Do they still make these?

They are very good boats, attack big water, very spacious accomodations, available in either gtx or stand up, and have full cabin or half cabin options as well. There are a few with 700's and NXT drives. Boats are very solid boats.

They are available, but have been fased out of production and replaced with the 41 and forethcoming 36.

Ok, how about a little less bias. Life ain't all good.

What speeds do these see with the 700's? Honestly, it seems that the boat had a very short life span. I realize that new larger models have come out but a smaller model, which has not came to market yet, will not cause product erosion if it does not exist.

I've never heard much about them does anyone here have one? I have a friend looking at one and we will be replacing the Bravo's so I just want to know if this is a good boat or?

Not triang to be too biased, the boat will run 110+ with 700's. As I said they are still available, however lately people are opting for the 41 or sv 43 instead of the 39. However the model is still available.

Well it looks like it is time for a test ride.

How fast with 525's or 600's?

Rik I was playing with one in the bay this weekend I waited for the guy and it appears he ran it up to about 85mph. Do not know what power is in it. Definately not a 100 mph boat.

The 39 with 525's will run mid 90's. Most were 525's, a few 600 boats, a few 700 boats, and a few Ilmor Boats. The Ilmor boats run Over 100, the 700 Boats w/ NXT's run 110. There were a few of each in AC this weekend, and they ran well offshore. The new 41 will run over 100 w/ the 700's, the 43 runs 115-118 with 700's. Obviously the techonolgy has improved a bit, but the 39 is still a great boat.

Hi Rik. I own a 2005 w/ 600sci, xr's w/ imco lowers, and I believe one of couple w/ a V-berth. Came from a 388 Slingshot & couldn't be happier with the boat and service from OL. (388 was a great ride too) I have run the boat up to 98mph on both gps systems with 5 blade maximus 34P props and was hitting the limiters. Based on those speeds Hering recommended 6 Blades at 35 pitch we'll see next week when I get them. The boat should run 103-105mph, we'll see. PM me if you want some detailed stuff. All and all very solid boat, but you pay for the "Exclusivity of OL" which I personally prefer.
