The one Blume has listed seems to be a nice deal pending the boat is clean and has the real low hours. He's asking 239K and I would say just below that would be reasonable. Good luck as the 42 is a great boat!

This is an outerlimits. If you can find me a 2004 42 for 110k I'll take two of them and write the check! Your value is a little off for a triple 42.

I cant write a cheque, but, I will beg, borrow and steal the 110K to get one if you can find one for me!

A. Triples are a waste of time
B. Boat has been for sale forever
C. Many OL's from years past have "dated paint schemes/interiors" that make Crayola/McDonald's stuff from #1 look good.

I'll take that as a compliment.

I will take the hull with no power or drives for that kind of price. At this stage of the market I think most sellers are just keeping their current boats as opposed to giving them away.

The triples run nice in the 42. With the 525's they run right at 98 and 100 with the right set-up and conditions. I have run two triple boats and they run great. Whats nice with the triple small motors is you can run 100 and still cruise and get decent fuel mileage while using 87 octane. I personally like the interior and dont mind the paint. For an 04 with such low hours its a decent deal for someone looking to step up into a 42.

Agreed. Everybody says boats aren't worth anything, but nobody seems to be giving away the quality boats (nor should they). Search the classifieds- yeah, you might be able to steal some junk, but if you want a quality built boat with the right equipment (cig, outerlimits, nortech, etc) you are gonna have to pay up.
