Hey Scott, I keep the boat in FL full time now. I've only used in twice in the last 9 months, Key West Poker Run and more recently the Bimini Poker Run with FPC.

Did you have the 32s with the 500s as well, or did you move up in pitch as you moved up in power? What size were the hydros when you were running stock 500s?

Nice! I didn't realize you had a place down there... very nice! So do you have another boat to use in CT, or are you looking for something? A nice CC could be a great boat to get out and still enjoy the water.

Those factory 500's will never pull a 32p prop correctly. I suspect he was probably running labbed 28's with the 500's.

The short staggered will be faster, as will surface drives over bravos.

Also, I've been thinking about selling my 37 (staggered, SSM 6's) with or without power. Hit me up if someone out there is looking for a 37 OL.

I figured as much, I'm running stock bravo 28's now, I doubt I would see anywhere near 85mph. I've been thinking about giving bblades a call for a while now. Also, is 5400rpm the norm for these motors? It has been a while since I wound it out, I usually just cruise around, I was thinking 5200rpm was the max.

Rich, obviously your props will determine how high your engines will spin, but as I recall, I think the HP500's came with 5400 rpm chips in them from the factory (this can be changed up or down).

Factory rev limiters on HP500's were at 5350-5400rpms.
