Default Sv29 ob

HI!

When Outerlimits build a SV29 for outboards, can it be rigged with twin Verado 400R engines? Or is this too heavy set up?

Cheeers, Toffen

What is approximate weight of a single BB/outdrive? Granted, all the outboard weight will be behind the transom but CG can be adjusted.

An SV29 with twin Verado 400R seems like it would be the perfect set up.

IMO, twin 400's on an SV29 would be A$$ heavy and throw off the balance of the boat.

I agree considering its only a 26' boat when you take away the 3' bustle or swim platform

They would have some major mods to accommodate the outboards...

You are more than welcome to come to the factory and measure our SV29 but it is not 26ft.

Another option is a single 400R. A Choudron 27 (27,5 feet no bustle) runs 85-88 mph with a single 400R.
