Thumbs up Pantera, GREAT little Boat!

This past Sunday I had the honor to run Albert's 28 Pantera (Miami Boys)in the SBI/APBA first race of the season. What a great ride, fun, scary, exciting, ect., ect., ect. Thank You Albert! Joe, Pepe, what a machine. I kinda held back cause it's not mine, well not really, Albert is part of the family but it was rough. We did stand her up at 11 o'clock about 8 feet outta the water from the drive according to John C of Superboat. He wanted to know what the hell I was doing out there cause he was worried so I guess we were pretty high. The thing is there were two helicopters following us for a entire lap with TV cameras on them filming for the new movie Miami Vice so we hope we make it in the movie and make Pantera PROUD. All I can say is that's one WELL BUILT BOAT. Thanks everyone. Augie

Sounds like a great report.
Glad you had fun out in the rough.
But 28 isn't small to some of us pantera owners.

the boat went straight up in the air and it looked like a rocket blasting off when the boat landed it went left and that scared the hell out of me I thought it was going to hit some on because the boats looked like they were running very close also it was a bad time for any accidents because the start everyone is very close...Thank god nothing happened.......

does anyone have any pics?

And thanks for the shirts I guess now I have two favorite shirts and both are kean offshore racing shirts....

Guy's remember, I come out of The Flying Condo at 38 feet, 11,000 pounds. To me 28 feet is small, light and very airey! By the way, where is the meat slicer in the Pantera's? I had no place to put the Salami and Moss hero's. Anyway, it was a Big Thrill for me and one race I will never FORGET! My hats off to you crews running those boats. Be safe, Augie
