28 single vs 28 twin
Are the hulls the same? Obviously the single will be faster with equal hp but there is also a hp limit for the drive on a single unless you step up to a #6 or equivelant. What are the other differences? What are the pros and cons of both? Ride, handling, speed, etc.

I am shure you will get many replys on this, But here is my 2 cents worth. The only real differance that I know of in the hulls are the stringer setup. The single is better balanced
for racing & running hard in big water, The single is alot easier to work on ( easier to move around in, and also less maintnance ) More fuel efficient. However the twin looks better to me sitting in the water due to the extra weight in the back. I don't think you can go wrong with either one. Again just my 2 cents, and I am shure we will all agree on that one.

I like the twins for the simple fact that if one motor breaks you dont need to get towed home!!! Accually I am going to order one with triples!... (300xs outboards) outboards kick ass!! (just my 2 cents).

Re: 28 single vs 28 twin
I dont know what it will do. My old boat was a full race deck boat with no cabin and 5 man standup bolsters. When I order my new one in a few months I want a pleasure version with a cabin and all the goodies. So obviously it will weigh alot more. But then again those 300's have alot more torque and HP then the old 2.4's I had.
