Thanks, If I had built the boat originally I would have gone with Merc 250's which is what I am considering now. However when the boat was built Pepe tells me that these were some of the best available. I had both Johnsons completly rebuilt and they actually handle the boat great. I prefer outboards, and this bracket mounted set up gives me an extended cockpit and is probably the best balanced boat I have ever driven. Kudos to Pantera

Looks good! That cockpit is HUGE. You could probably fit 8 or 9 skinny chics in there with ya!

65.3 seems like an outstanding number for 450hp.

what 450 H.P. you must be kidding right? those motors are 94's and never had 450 H.p. to the prop, as far as the speed we found out by mistake we deff. were not impressed ( I have a spectre twin 300 that were always in) becuase we knew we were not going near the speeds were used to but a took my hand held (by mistake) and on the way home after a long day a topped it out and turned it on and what did I see 65.3 which by the way I would of never thought that it ran that becuase you couldnt tell......Those raker (sp) props run better then we thought....also we went by pantera and spoke to joe and he said the boat ran 70 when new with a set of choppers, which I would of never believed it, as I've been high performance boating for years.....
