That is the 1999 model that is powered with twin 500 EFI's and now has Whipple Chargers on them. Boat is currently running 96 MPH on GPS according to Rob the new owner with more left in it. Should run over 100 MPH with no problem. He is still dialing the boat with a pair of Hydro P5 X 30 pitch at 5200 RPM with 1:36 gear ratio with a very conservative trim. Rob will be bringing the boat down in November and we are going to go for a 100 MPH run.
The boat is now located in N.C.
If you do a search on that Florida Powerboat Club website from the run 2-3 weeks ago to the Bahamas you will see 2 great pictures on Joe's Blue 36'.

Thanks for the compliment on the eyes... I spoke with JO prior to the PR and was told that there might be another 28 to run with at Destin, that would have been great! Maybe next year.
JO- I'm sure you've spoken to Barbie since the weekend, We met up at AJ's on PR day but she didn't have the shirts with her and we pulled out early Sun. morning.
On the "dialing in" process... I have the throttles going all the way to WOT now and I am removing the 1" spacer from the drive this week. Hopefully I'll get it in the water this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes.... Rob
