Yep, I have a family and that's why I went with mine. I will miss having a sunpad like yours.

Thanks Mike. I may have to make the run up the river to see the famous "Shogren" boat in person. I came close to ruining my computer drooling over pictures of your boat. I can't wait to see it on the water with the new sunpad and platform.

I'm curious how it'll handle the bigger lakes. I think it'll be fine, but I'm used to LOTO which makes me want to go bigger for a large lake like Erie or St Clair.

Let us know how it goes.

LOL! yeah, me too!

Come on up anytime ... Port Huron is a regular spot for me and we used to come down to St. Clair and Erie regularly in our prior boats. I may get splashed Memorial weekend if all the stars & weather align.

Keep us updated on how you are doing once you get her out!!

Finally got the first run in today. Put in at Lake Erie Metro Park and ran up to the Ambassador Bridge. Won't type much now, since the sooner I get to sleep, the sooner I get back out there!

The boat ran really well. The acceleration is definately to be respected: It pops up on plane and accelerates like it is falling off of a cliff. The boat is very responsive to trim, tab, throttle. My comfort zone was around 40 mph, higher than that, you aren't "cruising" the boat, you are "driving" it.

I'll have more to report later this weekend.

That will get higher soon.
I thought the boat was crusing nicely at 50-60. And over 70 was driving it!
