How Fast???

I have 468s in my 28 now that runs 74.8 on gps with Trs drives.I'm thinking about putting new motors in this winter they will be 540s with some where around 600hp from Bill at Acto. So with Trs drives turning in, what kind of mph should I see with this set up??

I would guess 91 - 96 with real 600 and the right setup.

I would rather have konrads over bravos for a TRS swap out.

How much is the bravo and gimble? x2.
And then move the engines back, and glasswork.
How much to pay someone to do all that?
The konrad w/ work w/ a trs gimble.
And not even a concern about blowing them.
Btw, you can get a konrad for 12k, with a gimble i think.

And Craney... nothing wrong w/ a trs boat. Trannys be smooth shifting.

39 MTI "Wildcat",
I do not think the Bravos will give that much speed. My 28 Pantera with twin 502 EFI and bravos is 75-77mph. Stick with the engine plan.

I think it will be less work for me to buy 2-540s from Atco and put them in,then go with Bravos. If I put new drives it would be Konrads. What size prop do you think I would need for 600 hp with Trs drives? I have 24 Bravos now that spin 5200 rpm.

BAJA OL 650HP/ SABER 28 Gellner unlimited with konrad ace
26 or 28 if your old power was 450 to 500 and what did you peak at with old compared to new my 650hp motor red line was 6000 so propped it for 5700 to 5800.

Brian,

I'd just leave things alone. You never run over 50 mph.
