Ocean Dragon Racing actually took 1st place in their class today in rough seas and finished a close 2nd place overall for the event behind Cinzano. The Pantera 41' is powered by twin Mercury racing 525 EFI's.

Congratulations to Martin Lai and the entire Ocean Dragon Race Team. We are very excited for them.

The Pantera 41' runs awesome in big sea conditions !

From testing the day before the race. The winning boat was a classic CUV alloy hull from the early 80's! (Cinzano)

I believe around 85mph. There was only 8 seconds between the first two boats - the twin Ilmor (725hp) powered CUV was always going to be the faster boat in the run for the line.

I ran right at 90 MPH on GPS with it last year with Brad Halpin from Mercury Racing on the wheel. That was in the Bay in dead flat water on the rev limiters in very hot and humid conditions. I think with a bit more prop testing and a 2 foot chop this 41' would of seen mid 90s.This 41' was not built light due to the P1 Super Sport class rules from last year.

Out in the ocean is where it really shows it true potential. It has incredible handling.
