More rigging.
This is a really fun but detail specific part of the job to me.

Bear in mind, the wiring is far from done and will all get loomed and adel clamped securely.

Boat project got slightly sidetracked the last year or so as I soent 50% of my limited "free" time on this jalopy. I dropped the entire drivetrain and suspension out of the bottom with a two post lift. All new suspension, transmission/convertor, engine refresh (solid custom crower cam and ported top end). Just took it in for an alignment past Thursday:

We had a dry sump oil tank made by Saldana racing products. Super happy with the quality of the tank.
I "hillbilly" machined up a plate of 3/8" 6061 to mount it in the bilge.

Picked up the engine and I'm in the final "mock up" stage of the job.

That thing is going to be a Work of Art when it's done. Hopefully not too nice to use

I hope nobody ask you for directions because you know no short cuts, what Tommy said it is Work of Art, Jo would be proud.

Thanks for the encouraging words guys! I could have just thrown this boat together and been on the water years ago, but I believe taking my time and holding a high standard of build quality is the way to go. I'm coming up on 5 years in September since I brought it home.

More rigging over the last two days. My 1 and 3 year olds were at the grandparents place, so I was able to spend considerable time on the project:

Tig welder is coming to measure for the modifications to the dry pipes so we can cut them apart, add O2 bungs and adjust the angle downward so they clear the rub rail.

The boat is looking awesome, very impressive work! I'm just curious, were you able to get the engine in and out with that cherry picker in the background or did you need something taller to clear it?
