JO
that sound about what I was thinking .

he run's the boat in the bay mostly and just cruise's in the 40 to 50 mph zone , he's not a speed demon like most of us on here

with those prop's he has better acceleration and mid range punch , there not for any top end #'s since he could care less about top speed .
you have to set up any boat for the way you drive it .

...there we go! i was waiting for this all to begin.
im sure it will "need a few bucks put in to it", IF YOU OWNED IT, to make it however YOU want it to be.
Yes, "it SHOULD have external steering", let me NOT explain why IT DOESN'T.
the fact is that, the boat is COMPLETE, it runs, good, and it is being sold, from a PRIVATE OWNER, what anyone does with it once title is transferred under their name, does not matter or mean anything to me.
for the time being, it is what it is, the boat still belongs to me, i have no plans to make it as you desire, sorry
anyone with offers, the appropriate funds, and interest can take proper steps to get more 411 etcetcetc

I'm not telling you what you should do to it, and every used boat will need something put into it to make it your own.

But IMO, any boat running in the 60s should have full external steering running to the helm for saftely purposes.
No big deal... its like $3000-4000 to get that done.
And thats peanuts when looking at the whole picture of boat ownership.
The boat looks real nice in the pics posted.
Good luck w/ the sale... it is reasonably priced.

X100

Buy it and make it what you want. Every used boat will need "a few bucks" to make it what the new owner WANTS.
