I do have some more done, no picture as of yet. painting the trans. and complete drive. Waiting to get the boat in to get wet sanded, buffed then the plastic white rubrail looks terrible IMO so it's getting replaced with a more original stainless rail. should have that in getting done in a couple weeks. Unfortunately I only have time to work on projects from November-January and I just didn't get it completed in time, so it's slow going. I also know there are tons of other little things I could do to this thing, I mean its an old boat. I'm just not going to put 50k into a boat that will never be worth 20k, so Im going to fix the squirrels nest of wiring, fix the engine, the unsafe fuel system and tidy up things so we can have some fun. I'll post pictures as soon as I have some significant progress.

I had someone look at it that knows this stuff better than I do. He would have gotten the job so he had nothing to gain by telling me not to do it. He said it wasn't wet enough to touch and he looked at the gimble studs and said if it were wet the studs would be corroded and they aren't. I do however appreciate everyone's input since I really don't have extensive knowledge concerning the marine environment.

As promised here are a few pics from today. Got it jacked up and got under the floor as best as I could and flushed out the hull, at first I figured I was washing out excess soda from blasting the bilge. Actually what I found was a bunch of sand.
Next I pulled the carpet up and pulled the windshield off. As you can see from previous pics the windshield had been painted white, Im going to try to strip it and polish it back to original.

I pressure washed the carpet, you should have seen the dirt wash out of it, ewwww. I stuck it over a rack and placed it in the oven still warm from yesterday for drying. If its relatively ok I'll put it back in, I think its the original carpet.
