Finally started working on my 24.
Only had my boat for a few months and blew up the engine. To busy to work on it most of the year, finally have a little time so I'm going to hit it hard all month and see what I can accomplish. I'll post up some updates as I go. Has been in my dirty dusty storage for months so first we clean it up quick.
Starting to tear it down.
Big holes.

Fuel system is out, it's getting replaced.
Wiring is suspect so I'll be making some decisions as to where that goes. I also went and bought some Bilgekote today so once I get the wiring out, painting begins.

1978 24' Not entirely sure what the engine was but looked to be a .030 over 330 with rectangle heads, small cam, q-jet, cast crank and rods, hyperutectic pistons, SM exhaust. I was told the engine wasn't worth putting the $$$ into so Im addressing that now too. Should have an engine done somewhere between end of month begining of Jan.

It was a long day at work... BUT, I did get the rest of the transom fittings out, the hydraulic steering lines plugged with AN plugs and the fuel tank outlet fitting capped off. Then the fun began, soda blasting the bilge.
