Hey Jerry,

The reason I named the new 36 "Survivor" was because My Family and I have survived for 30 years now in a very tough buisness to be in. Not many boat companys can say that.So I decided i would call it Survivor.

Besides that I think it is a great name for a new model.

The boat is only as fast as the person running it.

Carrabas 28 Pantera is a full pleasure boat. He was aware it would not be competitive in F1 class due to the extra weight. He even has shore power and a convertor. He told me he needed a 28 that he could take the family and over night in it.He is very pleased with the boats performance and won 5-6 races last year in P5 and took a second in Daytona a few weeks ago.If you are going to race in F1 than you got to go all out race.I won several races in 2001 and finished in the top 3 in a few other nationals in F1.

Hope you continue the winning heritage of Pantera with your 28 Pantera. You can count on me for any input I can give you from my years of experience with the boat.

I will ship out your Pantera decals this week.

regards,

JO

Hey Guys,

Albert ( MyPantera24 ) offshoreonly member just purchased this 1995 28 Pantera today and will be running the boat in P4 class possibly in the very near future.

He now owns ( 2 ) Panteras a 1978 24 and a 1995 28. I will GPS this boat in a couple of days with Albert and post the picture of the GPS here.

WHY WOULD JO ADVERTISE SOMETHING TO THEN LET SOMEBODY DOWN THAT CAME HUNDREDS OR THOUSANDS OF MILES TO SEA TRIAL A BOAT THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO RUN X AMOUNT MILES AND CAME UP SHORT,WOW THAT INVOLVES ALOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO.I REMEMBER HOW MANY TIMES JO TOOK OUT VONBONGO`S BOAT TO TRY TO GET THE MAXIMUM OUT OF IT AND I REMEBER 74,75 AND 77 WAS THE BEST RUN.HEY JO TONY SAID THAT HE WILL SPONSER IF WE RACE IN THE UPCOMMING EVENT.THANK YOU AGAIN GUYS I`LL POST BETTER PICTURES ONCE I HAVE IT THIS WEEKEND.ANGEL,WHAT A JUMP FOR BOTH OF US CANT WAIT.

Hello, Iam the owner of the awsome black F1, Jo and I hit 93 in the bay before the drive took a dump, Here in cinci on the ohio against the current on GPS with 91% humidity and a full tank, 85gals and one other person on board it ran 86.5mph, and on lake erie it turned 89 mph, with 700ponies. the same motor powered my 91 24ft to 88mph in 4 to 5 footers in lake erie. I dont know what your looking for, but I my self would rather run a constant 80 to 85 in 4 to 6 s than only be able to run those numbers in calm water or when in the ruff be afraid of hooking a step in a turn and fliping the boat. My new motor should put up 850hp and I will detune it to 800 for longevity. I run a imco extreme advantage with a 1.34 on the new motor. I was running a bravo 1 with a 1.50 and spun a 31 pitch prop. If i can be of any help to anyone , call me at 513 407 6206

And as for Jmemoli spinin your 550 horse motors at 5200 rpm is not even at there max hp out put, you should be turnin those motors at 5400 to 5600 rpm . A stock 500hp comes alive at 5400rpm , so what are you afraid of? sSpin those suckers , If your a fraid of breaking stuff than you should buy a cabin cruiser!!
