Congratulations Bruce!
Congratulations goes out to Bruce and his 28 Pantera "Simply Awesome", winning the OPA's first race. They not only won a very rough race, they put a stompping on two 30' boats with twin big blocks. ('Simply' has a single)
I hear Bruce will have more competition at the next race, a boat named "Carrabbas" and another unnamed 28 Pantera.
Congrats Again!

Hey Albert,
thanks. there's some Awesome pics at www.NJSportpics.com
click on online ordering & proofs then offshore racing. check it out.
I cant tell ya how the 380s are compared to the 280s. This was our first big water race with the boat. and we really did not need tabs in the last three races. But i would say they cant hurt the performance.
We wont make it to Marathon because its one week before our next NJ race and its just too much traveling. I may fly down to watch though.
Good luck if you race.

BRUCE I WONT BE RACING IN MARATHON,I PULLED THE MOTOR OUT YESTERDAY. WHEN I DID THE LEAK DOWN I HAD THE #4 AND 5 CYLINDERS WITH ONLY 50% LEAK DOWN,SO I IMAGINE THAT THE RINGS ARE SHOT.I HAVE NO TIME IN MY HANDS, TO MUCH WORK AND NOT ENOUGH FREE TIME.I DO ALL THE ENGINE ASSEMBLY MYSELF SO TIME FOR ME IS EVERYTHING.NOW I`M GETTING MY BLOWER MOTOR READY,I CAN RUN P3 WITH THE BLOWER MOTOR AND P4 WITH THE 540 MOTOR.I`LL SEE HOW MY DRIVE HANDLES WHEN I PUT THE BLOWER MOTOR.I HAVE DE-TUNED THE BLOWER MOTOR A BIT FROM 1000 HP TO MID 800 TO 900.NEVERTHELESS,CONGRATULATIONS IN WINNING YOU DESERVE IT,YOU GUYS ARE REAL DIE HARDS AND HOPEFULLY WE WILL BE RUNNING OUR PANTERA 28`S IN THE SAME RACE COURSE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.ALBERT
