I was heartbroken when I saw Jo pull off the course on the first lap!
Don't know what happened but this was the boat's first time racing.
F1-11 Laveycraft spun out in turn 1, both crew were tossed out, rescued but did not return to their boat, instead riding back in rescue boat.
SCL eliminator sank between on the long back straight.
Hope everyone is OK.

The boat ran better than I expected! We worked round the clock for the last three days so we could make the race. We splashed the boat for the first time Saturday about 10am at the race, w/o testing, we guessed the props! We put 30" hidros which were banging on the limiters. Now for the race, Threadwell told me when I asked him what happened? His answer was: The boat had it, Jo had it, but I felt I needed seat time! I was not happy but I respect his honesty. Now we must look foward to the next race. Later, Pepe @ Pantera.

If I was buying a new one, I believe it would be black with the huge green eyes!
