80 Pantera 24' info??

Thought ya'll could answer a few questions for me about an 80 24 that I'm considering. Does the 24 have stand-up bolsters or full time sit down seats? Does it have a usable cabin that two adults can sleep in without being too couped up? Is it as capable in rough water as other Panteras are known for? What is the beam on the 24?

Sorry about the 20 questions! This boat needs a motor and is in my price range. Just not sure if the 24 is big enough.

Thanks for any help!

Eric

Seating setups vary.
As well as cabins.
Rough water handling.......... oh yeah!
Beam is usually 7' on the 24.
Jo can probably answer any question you may have on this boat.
Good luck.
Georges

Hmm

Yup they handle the rough
Cabin is ok for two
SE is easier to get in and out of the cabin than the sport
Most have bolsters although you could get buckets.

If you want a boat that can handle the rough this is the boat, and enough room for two in the cabin.

the 24 cabin is a good size -- i think 2 could sleep comfortably in it

but -- it is a pain to get into -- the newer ones are much easier!! (maybe i'm just to old!!!) lol

i was out on mine sunday -- never been in the ocean -- but on my lake the chop is unreal during a busy weekend -- and the boat just takes it !

Sorry the boat is actually a 1980 model. Probably the same though, right?

Georges, I talked to you before about your Pantera. The boat(or at least the seller) is in Baldwin NY. I wonder if you or anyone else here has seen this boat. It's red and black and he says the paint is new. I e-mailed him but havn't heard from him yet. Hopefully he'll send more pics.

Im glad to hear about the rough water ability!

Maybe Jo can ad some info.

Thanks guys!

1995 Pantera 24SE - SOLD
I think I've seen this boat a few yrs back.
Color was white w/ orange and black stripes.
It was pretty rough then.
I have some pictures of it from then.
Send me your email and I'll shoot you them.
I'd have to believe its the same one... not too many Panteras on LI.

I just got mine and haven't dropped it in yet.
