That 28' is a 1986 "race model" that was redone in 2004 by a friend of ours who is a marine mechanic/ rigger. It is being sold as a hull and deck rigged with no power.

I will put anyone in contact with him if interested.

Bruce, the question is, was that a stamp of approval?
Seems like a decent deal if in nice shape.
I'd consider, but my current/new boat just hit water 1 month ago.
Wife would have a sh%t if I already jumped ship for the 4ft.

I believe that was a semi stamp of approval.

I think it more means "I know the guy, and the boat, but did not do the work myself, so I am not telling you it is mint, but if your serious, I will put you in touch, and we can all talk about it" statement.

Yeap I know the boat well it used to be a three man bolster set up.
Good deal for what he has done to it.

Is this the same boat? We saw it at Monty's during the boat show.

That could be the boat. I spoke to the owner yesterday. It used to be a 3 man set up, but has since moved the 3man forward and added a padded/non separated stand-up space behind it. This interior is new and light grey. Boat is rigged electrically and has 280 k-planes w/ SS rams.

Needs power, gimbal, drive, full instrumentation and steering etc.
Seems like a good deal, especially if you've got power.
