Default Swim platform question for single engine Pantera owners

Do any of you guys have a swim platform with a dive ladder that is located in the center of the platform? Reason I ask is that I had a new one made for my 28 Cigarette, but they put the ladder dead center instead of off to one side, which concerns me when people are getting out of the water. Mine is a single engine, so I'm worried about people hitting the drive/prop with thier feet.

Does the ladder extend far enough back that this isn't a concern?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

No ladder, have a 2' alum platform. You can climb the rungs on the side of the platform, but it's a pain when you're rafted up. I put non skid tape on the cavitation plate and carefully climb in that way, right up the middle. My wife and 10 yr old prefer to step on the k-planes and the side rungs.

DD, check out the swim ladder attached to the port underside of the swimplatform. Nice idea.

Stormrider: That's exactly like my old one. It's great, but I wanted a rounded new style one like the one below. When they finished it, they found that the only place to put the ladder was right smack in the middle and right above the drive. Of course I didn't find this out until I unwrapped it.

Does anyone have a single with the ladder in the middle?
