34 Phantom Upgrade

We are currently in the process of upgrading my friends 34 Phantom race boat with fresh HP500's and Whipples.

Anyone running a similar set up and what props have you had success with?

Thank you,

Kirk

I had 28 p 4 blades Hydromotives on my 34 with 500's Turned about 5,000 rpm. It is a pleasure version. Will Smith might be able to help you out better with the race boat set up.

What size props are you considering? (How much hp per engine/rpm level?)

I assume th 500 with the whipple to be close to 680HP at 5400 RPM.

I was talking to Jim a few weeks ago at his shop,( He is a vender of mine). And the discussion turned to boats and he said that he was getting his 500 freshened up and new blowers by a guy up north.
So I put 2+2 together and figured that you must be the GUY.
