Destin/Navarre boat friendly campgrounds?
Thinking about a long Mem day weekend trip to my old stomping grounds (worked in FWB 15 yrs ago).
Plan is to take the toterhome with the 28 Pantera in tow so I need 65-70' to park the setup. Are any Rv sites more friendly to boaters, size/swing room, proximity to good ramps/watering holes? Do they get tweakerd if you rinse down the trailer and flush in the campground?
Juana's, AJ's are on the must do list etc. Anyone going to be in the area to kook up with?
I need to firm things up and make reservations before it's too late

Re: Destin/Navarre boat friendly campgrounds?
I am here on Okalossa Island, I know there is a campground on 98 between FWB and navarre, plus there is the state park in Destin, or you could go all the way down to 30A, but I imagine you would like to be closer to all the action.
If you need me to check someplace out let me know, I am usually free to roam on the weekends.

Thanks,
more than anything else I need to ID rv places with enough swing room (I'll call a few tomorrow) but also what ramps are the roomiest, hate to get boxed in etc- my tow rig is comfy but not nimble, 290" wheelbase
Can you recommend any ramps? Blest place to buy charts when I get there?

Ramps, I wish I knew, I have been sans boat since I have been here. There is a public ramp on the right side of 98 if you are heading eastbound, directly across from marine max in FWB. That ramp is very wide and flat, and enough room to be able to move that rig around. I can ask the special Lines adjuster tomorrow for some better ramps in Destin. I Know since Ivan there has been a lot of remapping of the ICW, not having a boat I cannot truly tell you the real status.
