Just to clear up some confusion about the Oshlosh Thunder Poker Run. The Pioneer Resort IS OPEN as of May 1 and will be the host site for all meals and the actual Poker Run event which will be held on June 17 & 18. The restaurants, Tiki Bar, pool, and Marina will all be open at the Pioneer. The rooms will not be finished, so the other hotel we will be using is the Hilton Garden Inn. The Hilton is located on Hgy 44 (South Park Ave) by the airport on the way into town. Most of you will pass it on the way to the Pioneer. There will be a free shuttle service on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between the hotels. The only thing we will be using the Hilton for is sleeping. It's a 5 minute ride between the two hotels, so it should not be a big deal. There is a block of roons set aside at the Hilton for the Poker Run (920)-966-1300. We look forward to seeing you this year and apologize for any inconvenience.

I haven't participated in a poker run yet, only second year with my boat, is there an entrance fee for the run? I would like to get my old boat in on some action this year.

Quiet Storm

It's not all that bad compared to others and you get a lot for your money. The jackets that they gave out last year were worth at least $100.00 and the rest of the festivities were great. The only down side was the noise police and the fact that I blew up a motor.
