Windy City Poker Run - Chicago - Poker Runs America Event

OSO Members. Be sure to check out this years innaugural Windy City Poker Run an "Official Poker Runs America" event August 5th & 6th. Full details can be viewed at www.windycitypokerrun.com. This event will cover a 100 mile course with boats and Lamborghinis. Yes, that's right the cars and boats will have the same card stops in this unique event. The event will be filmed for Poker Runs America TV Series and will be covered by Powerboat Magazine. We will have 3 helicopters for 75 boats along with great awards. All monies will go to Make A Wish. This event is being sponsored by Mercury Racing, Livorsi Marine, Poker Runs America, Shogren Performance Marine, Art Of Design, Red Bull Energy Drink, Lamborghini Chicago, MYCO, Donzi, Formula, Poly Wheels, Pier 57, Fountain and more. I just registered. It sounds like a great event. Believe it or not my 70 year old mother wants to go with us on this run. I told her about it and now she won't take no for an answer. I hope I have her spunk when I'm 70.

The registration is at 49 boats as of Saturday. There are a number of Fountains along with many other very cool boats (IE: Skater, Eliminator, Outerlimits, Cigarette, Nortech, Formula, Donzi, etc.) So far the fastest boat I am aware of is a 170MPH cat and 130MPH V-bottom). There is a strong chance the new sit down 47' Fountain w/ Sterling 1500's will be ready for our event, it should run about 160.

Sorry, there are actually 3 Scarabs signed up. There are only 15 spots left and minimal hotel rooms for the Windy City Poker Run.
