Our small boat club at work is once again putting on a charity poker run this year. The date is Tuesday, July 12, at 5:00 PM. We do this run as an "after work" event and our course is fairly short (approx. 15 miles total). Rain date is the following evening, Wed. the 13th of July.
We will be starting from Holland and end up at Coral Gables in Saugatuck. Cost is $30 per person (captains are exempt from the $30 cost, your effort is payment enough!).
Our chrarity this season is the "Kayak for a Cure" organization. These brave men will be kayaking across Lake Michigan to raise money for cancer awareness and research in the West Michigan area. They are directly affiliated with the American Cancer Society. You can visit their website at
