Alright, Lets try and translate my last post:

First of all I want to thank everyone who participated in this event. The weather was a total washout with 44 degree tempature and 3.5 inches of rain. We still had 9 crews show up to the event by boat !! (They even went out and ran for a while) But what totally amazed is that we still sold 67 hands and had 140 people show up for this event. The party started REAL early which also caused it to end REAL late . We did our best to kill off the regions bar stock. We raised $8000.00 !!!

A big thanks to Mr and Mrs Hotboat for all their help during the event. Paul and Jessica showed up at my door early on Saturday and asked what needed to be done and then went to the task and totally gave up the day for me and this event. I could not have pulled it off without them !!

Jessica ended up winning 2nd place in the Poker Run and donated a large portion of the winnings back to the event. Thats what kind of people they are

To Bob and all, We had a great time, met some great new friends and look forward to actually doing a poker run. Our first poker run attempt goes in the books as a blast for us but we don't think this was how they are normally done. Ha Ha. No matter, We would not miss it next year and will do what we can to help double the donation goal again.

Barry, Thanks for the kind words. Its always nice to meet new friends. The Poker Runs dont usually go like they did yesterday but its not usually 45 degrees either !! I will tell you this though, they ALWAYS end like that one did yesterday. Good food, good entertainment,and alot of drinking and storytelling. We all have so much in commen I want to thankyou for trusting my advice of trying this Poker Run as your first, and then not only showing up but getting right involved with the setup and running the errands. I cant thank you and your wife enough. I look forward to seeing you guys in the near future.
