23 boats made it to the first stop in Michigan City, my dad was the card boat. All the cards are drawn at the banquet dinner after the run.

I think you know the answer to that question! I know it wasn't Reggie! Congrats for being the first one to MC. My dad said the next closest boat was way back, maybe 5 mins.
BTW Nice ride!

I'll admit that I turned around. We pounded for 17 miles toward Michigan City and I loved every minute of it. I had my Father with me, and he was not sure until afterward if he was having fun or not. His exact quote: "I have not seen water like that since I was on an Aircraft Carrier in 1962."
He did absolutely enjoy every minute of the run though; (even though he had to think about it).

I tried to keep up with you Bill and gave up. You had to be running about 90-100mph through that crap. When you can count 3-5 seconds on a launch, time to back off a little.

Bill, we were running around 75-80 ish in Shogren's 42 with the new 700 package. I thought I was really flying. I looked off to my port side, and seen you passing me like I was waiting for a ride at a bus stop !!!!!
At that, I pulled back the sticks a little, not much, just a little.
BTW. What a bad azz ride ya got there.
