Well we certainly can't blame the Buffalo contigent. They came out in force. Run went off very smoothly. We had a great time. Would have been nice to have a few more boats but . . . Anyways, thanks, ROPA for another great time.
Maybe next year more of the SPBA people will join us. Wish this was not so far away. I can't take the time (or fuel) to trek up there twice a year. Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year.

A big thanks to all who made it to the run and made it a great one regardless of the #'s. The #'s were disappointing this year for a few reasons, including confusion on the date - we are always the 3rd Sat. in July but some people thought the 3rd week in July (which would actually be the 4th Sat.) and had made other plans. Next year- 3rd Sat. in July, the 21st! The Syracuse car show took away some of our people who are also hot rodders.
Also, by estimate, we had about 15 broken down boats who couldn't run, mine included. I myself was going to try to hitch a ride with 3 other people and they all showed up with no boat- not running. Some were running this year and broke and some haven't been able to get running yet.
Hopefully some of us can get running in time to pay back the great Buffalo people by attending the WNYOPA Poker Run on Aug. 12th. I 've always loved that run (been to about 11 of them) and really feel my summer is incomplete without going to it.
Also a big thanks to Bob Ervay (and officer in SPBA) of Ervay's Marine for the welcoming sign from SPBA. Always a class act, Bob!
