Top Gun in case you do not change your plans there are several of us that make the trip up the James in the morning. We will be leaving from Smithfield sat morning and could establish a meeting point and you could cruise up with us if you would like.

2008 Jammin on the James, July 12th, Richmond, Virginia-splitdecision.jpgHas anyone contacted Hawkeye Marine, to see about them bringing Split Decision down for this run ? I know this was on Baja's list of to-do's, Hawkeye has announced they would be touring the boat and truck, so it may be worth a phone call.

Topgun,
we have made the trip up sat morning from portsmouth, it's a nice ride, actually prefer to do it that way, you can hook up with others from that area as alot of them head up together.
plus you already have everything in your hotel room! :

Sometime in early-mid June I'll send out info about where to stay Friday night. If you need it sooner, I think most people stay at the Marriott Courtyard in Chester, Va. It's located at I95 and Rt10.

Remember to book any rooms that you need - or think you may need - at the Renaissance by June 11. After that date, we lose our block and special rate.

May be a little conflict since our local Baja dealer has been a sponsor since the beginning of our event. But we'll see.

good point, since the boat isnt owned by Baja any longer, doubt they would just loan it out to another dealership,

Reggie really should have bought it and kept the tour alive, but thats a whole another story.

That's great. Based on what I'm hearing about other Poker Runs on the east coast, this could turn out to be the largest event between NY and FL. We have @ 80 boats signed up with more than a month to go!
