As much as I would like to tear up the lake the bottle rocket is tucked away for the winter. This year should be fun with the new 36p prop. I called Procahrger the other day to see about "expanding" the potential of my current set-up. We just might hit the century mark this year! That is, if we can keep it right side up.

just called the other day and it seems that all of the rooms are all ready booked? Is this true or is someone blocking them for the poker run? If they are all booked what else is close? rather not stay at the ramada (to far away) and the new hotel in watkins glenn also quite a hike.

Yes in fact the owner of Showboat is already at full capacity for the Pirate Run as is the Hotel next door, The Rainbow Cove. A few options include:
The Anchor Inn and Marina: 607-535-4159 A few participants stayed at this location last year. 12-15 docks. Located just north of Watkins.
Chiefton: 607-535-4759
Longhouse Lodge: 607-535-2565
Golden Knight: 607-535-8012

When you call these locations be sure to ask about parking accomodations for your rig. There are several hotels/motels but they are all pretty much mom and pop places, with the exception of the Ramada in Geneva, and the new place in Watkins. If you want the little lady to have a nice time, I recommend the Manor at LongHouse Lodge. If these don't work for you, a ton of Bed and Breakfast joints are scattered all around Seneca. If you have any more questions, give me a shout.

thanks for the info need, looks like i won't be the only one staying out of town. there will be quite a few of us coming from the buffalo group and i thought i was going to be early with my reservations.
