I'm still waiting on a blower. It'll probably be at least 2 more weeks before I get it back, so I'm cutting it pretty close also.

Gas will be a sore subject this summer, I'm afraid. Can we say "Raft-up" and slow cruising?

So where are the hangouts going to be since the cove is closed? I'm not a fan of places like the narrows that's so crowded you can't enjoy it. Plus the po po is pretty tight in Broad and Linkhorn, isn't he?

Also, all of those are pretty long runs from Rudee or the southern branch of the Elizabeth River. Been to Choppokes and the Tiki bar. I'm from the southside down where Tommy Kimball lives. I'll probably only hit them a couple of times this year. The cove was much closer

Salt Ponds N37 03.287, W76 15.619

Bay Creek N37 16.820, W76 01.443

Bay Creek is tough to get into - lots of shoals, rocks. You need to follow the channel in or follow someone.

If you live out by Tommy, maybe you should tailer a bit farther and launch at city ramp a Lynnhaven inlet. All of the places above are good frequented hangouts.

Only 35 days until The Ocean Marine Poker Run is off and running to Benenfit The March of Dimes. Who's in and ready to play ? I still have things to do to the boat but i'm in. We will be there even if I have to paddle my a$$ to the dock, it's all for a good cause and we have FUN too . and last but not least
