Run a mile off the shoreline in Lakes Maurepas and Pontchartrain and don't cut the red markers going into Madisonville. Follow the range markers in front of the lighthouse. It looks like it lines you up too far west of the mouth of the Tchefuncte, but, no, KEEP THE RED MARKERS ON YOUR RIGHT GOING IN.
also going into Sunbuns,I aways center the canal going into it, I heard of people bumping something right by the first camp house.Hope we dont get the rain like last year.Also is it does rain watch out going to Blind bar,
Tchefuncte river, also the entrance is a no wake, the patrol will be hanging there, there usually under the bridge at Sunbuns also,no wake.when your headed back to Charlies around sunset. they sit infront of Tin Lizzys.Theres some sharp turns going up toward Charlies.
There is going to be a fun run and crawfish boil. Check one of the other Tickfaw threads for the plans. Or just be at the fun house at 10 with the boat ready to go

I talked to Charlie today.
Makem Wet Marina will remain private.
Charlie recommends the Pulic Launch at Pass Manshac as a backup plan in addition to the local ramps. He said it is suitable for the larger boats, can load 4 boats at once and a Sheriff Sub-station is located there onsite. He said your truck and trailer should be safe there during the day. I have no knowledge regarding overnight parking at that launch.
