Fair Haven, NY July 4th party
Anyone know if the July 4th party is going to take place this year? Still the saturday befor the 4th? Last years party was great until the moron started the fights. I was wondering if that would cause the guy that organizes it (can't remember his name) to scrap it this year. Perhaps it could be held somewhere only boats can get to, that might keep out the riff raff.

Hey Go4broke if that is not going on that weekend you should come down to Oneida for the weekend. Under the Gun is playing at the Boahouse on Sat the 5th. Going to be a great weekend. There is always a big raft up party in Three Mile Bay and then off to TOB for a great night.

Where in Fair Haven was the Party last year?
I would be interested in joining you guys if something pops up this year....
I am sure Thirdbird and his crew would be interested as well as some of the guys I know from the Rochester area.

That sounds awesome ..... I thought that is where it was.
I stopped there on the way back from Harbour Fest last year to nurse a hangover. They actually have a great launch there as well.
Who started all the fights you were talking about? Was it a local pissed that someone was looking at his girl?

It was a local without a boat(the guy in the pink hat playing air guitar in the pic of the band), I think he was just drunk and enjoys fighting. It was a great party until the second or third time he caused trouble and the cops came. Then everyone left. Carrboy and us went back to my place, had a campfire and kept drinking.
