I've been lobbying my ol' lady to bring the SSR out for this run.......(Lake George has got to be beautiful at that time of year!!) ........If I knew GL's bringing the DOI 42MTI, I might just have to start working her a little harder I was bummed out that I had to leave the Swamp Run After party early but I'm looking forward to the next time I can run with ya.... (actually watch you run by me) Were both getting tickets that day you Know!....my question is once you get ticketed by 5-O, are we Grandfathered for the balance of the day?

the sound lim is only lifted for the run correct? we have a 5 hour ride and wanted to make a weekend out of it, but none of us have baffles etc.

A year or 2 back I got stopped within 10 minutes of launching. My boat isn't even all that loud.... 93db opposed to 90. I asked th cop what to do, he said that as long as I'm not an ass I can boat the rest of the weekend as I was clueless about the sound limit (first time in lg). He was actually pacing the docks waiting for me to start it, he put his lights on within 20 secs.

I still love the lake.

Matter if fact, I still haven paid the ticket... $hit!!

That's correct, the permit covers the Poker Run itself.
