The run has been the same date and time each year and we start promoting it heavier the last 5 to 6 weeks. Should be another great run with over 100 Boats in attendance.

Some additional things were added including the VIP Party at Jerimiah's on Saturday Night for all participants.

It's less than two weeks away and we're excited to be coming back to LOTO.

Here are some of the pictures from last year! Hope to see you all again this year!

Claudia and I in our boat "Desert Storm" running in the second group! We had Chad and Brandy Johnson (with sister Katy) from www.PartyCoveUSA.com riding with us.

Some of the very nice boats there.

and we met some great people!

That WAS last year, before everything hit the fan about the alleged, (because it has never been proven the allogations were not true) donations, mis-approtiation of funds, etc.

Truly it WAS a spectacle to watch and even participate in.

But as far as this year, exactly how many do you have registered to date?

What are you doing as far as donations, who, what percentage, and what is the expected payout, also is there any door prizes, and what exactly do you need to do to be elligable to recieve them?

We have ran Desert Storm, 1st class event, and I feel your team does a GREAT job, but who exactly who, will be running the LOTO event?

Important information for all those who are considering the run.

Thunder at the lake has always been an event that has been enjoyed by most based on response.

Without making this into a bunch of drama which some would choose to do and enjoy. Funds were and are accounted for and any miss approtiation of funds allegation is simply like you said alleged. If there WAS any real problem that was not resolved do you really think any sponsors inlcuding Main or Hosting would continue???

In fact prize money was paid twice for first place!!! I really do not care who says or alleges what at this point as there were several people there and involved that could attest.

Lake Racer assisted with the event last year and in fact stood there as the money was paid out along with 50 other people. Then the next day due to 1st being handed to second and vice versa by accident the poker run made it right and the difference in First place was paid out again.

There was also allegations that we charged a registration on a credit card through Kelly's which allowed someone to stir the pot, but in the end realized after a couple days of continued alligations and being all over the internet that we in FACT did not EVER charge any registration to that participant and it was in fact a GAS BILL of $250 at Kelly's that morning before the run which was assumed to be a registration and passenger cost.

Problem solved appology's accepted!!! Easy Right??? Guess not because if we do not explain it to the internet world of which there is a fair share of Pot stirrers these things continue to go on like this.

Things are taken care of and money is accounted for!

Bottom line is this is a great event and things are not always as one says when running their mouth. Sometime regardless of what you do or say or try to prove it does not change someone that you do not see eye to eye with trying to manipulate a situation into something it is not.

It is not my position to sit and try and shell out details past what has already been done just so someone else can make themselves feel better.

Just to solve any issues or blaiming pertaining to Thunder at the Lake in the past, present or future we have choose to have Lake Racer continue to help organize, assist and handle any funds regarding this event.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event, but if you do not wish to attend or dissagree and are only about stirring the pot just don't come!

Just don't stop others from enjoying what has been a great event in past.

I am sure Jim will attest to the way it is going to be run along with the breakdown of prize money/Charity etc.

I didn't allege anything... Just asking for spacifics, which have not been answered. Please refer to the original post, and answer the questions.

If, I decide to participate, and spend the money on registration and fuel (it is going to take alot since it is one end of the lake to the other), I want to make sure it is going to be a turn out worth doing...

There is no hidden agenda here... just want the answers published so we can all decide if we want to participate or not.

There will be giveaways and raffles as in the past.

Each participant will recieve a raffle ticket allowing them a chance to win one of the different prizes.

Raffle tickets will be given at check in or during registration at the event. We will be giving away prizes on Friday night after the poker run during awards and Saturday night at the VIP party at Jerimiah's night club

1st Place

40%

2nd Place

30 %

3rd Place

10%

Charity

20%

(Kelly's Port has Named The Dream Factory to recieve any charitable contributions)

These are all paid based on number of poker hands purchased

You do not have to hit each stop in order to recieve any missed cards at the end during card turn in.

If you would like to run the whole lake or go part way and change directions you may do so.

For those participants who make all stops you will be put into a drawing that will pay a $300 Gas Card good at Kelly's Port Marina anytime!

Hope you can make it!
